Tom Mazur presents: Baby I'm Amazed

This radio program hopefully will attract listeners. I like to tell stories and am inspired daily by being a participant in this life. I realize that all diction is fiction...and yet, it's in the stories we share we are able to weave our own truths. I love this life that is chock full of uncertainties, sadness and absurdities,,,but talking about them, makes me happy.
6/7/17 Stop in the name of love
We were given the gift of pause. How we put it to use is what makes us a loving and tender human being. There is no denying that there is evil in the world, but I believe that more good is available to us. We just have to take the time to discern what it is we wish to be in this realm we dwell in for the moment.

5/3/17 Free Advice
At the end of every day you should ask yourself, what made me laugh today. And if you think nothing at all was funny, then I think you haven't examined your day close enough. I suppose the same goes for sadness too.

3/29/17 you talk to me
Seriously, how else are we going to find out about each other. We need to communicate. We are social beings and even though some may be shy, some may be reclusive, some may be completely out of our minds, the only way we can find out about each other is through communication. Talk, sign, gesture ...sometimes a smile works best at first.
Above all, be human...give it a try.

2/2/17 Black and White in Color
Imagine if life was simply black and white. A pencil note telling you how to live your life. How you should live the golden rule. How  to always remember that there's blood on the end of the pencil. And blood is red and peace is not black and white. And the color of your soul has yet to be determined. And love is sad and deep.

1/25/17 Spare Change
It's easy to put off change because it will ultimately on our comfort zone. That's why it's easy to put it off until tomorrow. And yikes, sometimes tomorrow never comes, so why bother to change at all. Unless you do it now.

1/4/17 Do you promise not to tell?
Tonight we bantered about secrecy in a world that has very little privacy . And like the words of a song that are misunderstood we varied in our opinions about which secrets should be kept. But ultimately the best kept secret is one that is never told to another soul except for maybe God.

10/5/16 A Song For You
As soon as a song comes over the air to make you feel good, another one can come along to make you feel sad. Both are good for you. Sing and dance to all rhythms.

9/21/16 Seeing is Believing
And when you believe something to be true because you took the time to see eye to eye with someone, you know that this dialogue was worthwhile. Keep doing this on a daily basis and before long you will create a village large enough to raise a new generation. A generation that relies on widows, not walls.

9/16/16 Calling A Truce
If we are in this together, what makes us separate. It is the small self or the ego that breeds fear and greed and hatred that we need to call a truce with. If we work towards overcoming the power of small self, it has no where else to go but towards the big self or the cosmic consciousness. So our work is simple, ignore the yipping noise of the small self and concentrate your energies on making all others peaceful, pain free and enlightened.

8/24/16 Coffee Break
Often we need something to kick start our day and a cup of coffee for many is the elixir of choice. Some people will even say that they are miserable without it. I like my coffee first thing in the morning piping hot with a shot of cream...just the way my mom used to drink hers.

8/18/16 How Women Can See Through You
In this episode Tom talks about the women who have influenced him throughout his life, forming the feminine side to his personality. As someone once said to him, “You sound like a man with daughters”. He often looks at his wife talking to his grandson and reflects, “God is she good at that!” It’s a whole different approach to communication

8/10/16 Why I Learned Crap in High School
Richard tonight threw me an early curve and I immediately swung and was taken off topic. ‹This program was supposed to be all about photography and we went with spontaneity instead. In most high school settings this is unacceptable. You must learn what is taught and give back in copy speech in order to get a passing grade. What a shameful way to learn.

8/4/16 Hey Everybody
Tonight Tom and Richard talk a little about sadness and depression and how sometimes a positive attitude may help lift someone from the blues. The blues are something we all go through and sometimes a rainbow may come in handy every now and again. If you think this is a bad idea, we talk a little bit about that too.

7/28/16 What's Mine is Yours
It's like a soup out there and since we're all in this together there's no telling when you're going to bump into a carrot that doesn't agree with you. Should you then throw out the whole bowl of soup. Of course not. Just avoid the carrots until you have learned to develop a taste. And if that's not possible, keep them at bay as best as best as you can. Or at least share them with someone who loves carrots.

7/20/17 Who's to Say
In life there will be many folks telling you which way you should travel..which road you should take...and of course, this will help you make make a decision...your decision. So have no regrets on your choice.

7/14/16 More Meier
Last week I talked about my buddy Tom and our relationship. Of course I left a lot of stuff out and was reminded by friends of other Mazur/Meier stories. I'm thinking that this will happen again and as I writing this I'm thinking I haven't mentioned the trip I took to visit Lara Lea in Vegas with Diana's car. And oh yes, that Tom had a hot dog stand in Phoenix.

7/6/16 Mazur/Meier/Meier/Mazur
This is about two Tom's - boyhood friends since the late 50's and some of the things they shared. This all ended on June 29, 2016 @ 5:31pm when one of the Tom's left for another realm. This program is just a small portion of their relationship....I will need another 50 more segments to fully describe a great friendship.

6/23/16 Hide and Seek
In this episode Richard and I talk about where God hides and why this this is so. Why would a God hide on us. Unless of course this God never hides and it's us who hides from God. We talk about innocence and experience and how the world of experience hides us from God. And finally we touched on the simple need of being a priest to one another. A willingness to sit and listen to  another human bare their soul to us. And us to them.

6/11/16 Within You Without You
Tom talks to Richard tonight about words/language and the space that exists between us all after words have been spoken. We use words to help us connect to something that is universal...the unspoken truth of our collective consciousness. Words are our stepping stones to truth. The comfort zone of the cosmic unknown.

5/20/16 Bumping into something
Tom randomly talks again and again about fragments from his mind. He didn't feel the usual spirited flow of his consciousness tonight but feels he still had something to say so he's going with it anyway.

5/11/16 Did I hear that right
Tom received a letter from Ryan Fleming who would love to do a radio/video show because he loves telling stories. Ryan says that he is very animated and sometimes relies on the animation more often than using words. Tom talks a little about how one can be animated without the visual.

5/4/16 you don't own me
In this episode we lost the first seven minutes of the show....it doesn't matter, we seldom have 100% control over things. At times what we believe we control are only our thoughts that are controlling us. Love conquers all so try a little more tenderness.

In this segment Tom rambles on about poetry in his life. How the mystery of this fascination allows for him to view his world as a person about to write a poem.

3/23/16 Taking Care of Elders
Tom sometimes refers to himself as the angel of death. Over the years he has been the caretaker of many of his relatives and tonight he tells a few stories of those tender experiences.
