Jimmy is welcomed into the Beyond the Mainstream family as an intern, whose chief responsibilities (to date) are as editor and production assistant. Also, at long, long, LONG last, the premiere of the Beyond the Mainstream movie is announced, and there was great rejoicing. (yay.) Beyond the Mainstream is premiering May 8th, at 7 PM, at the Market Arcade in downtown Buffalo. Tickets may be ordered by sending email to MonacoSalMatt@yahoo.com. 3/13/13 A Dance with Fire
Sal the Observer, JT the Great and Lauren the DIVA interview actress and fire spinner Jessica Hale, which is every bit as exciting as it sounds! We hold Sal's phone to the mic to interview Toy Show Sponsor Joe Dee as he talks about the upcoming toy show. Jen turns Lauren and Jessica into random noise generators, with mixed success (Lauren said no sometimes. *pouty face* ). Also presented are interviews with comic book artist Leonard Kirk (and Jen refrains from asking if he has a brother named James T Nimoy), and with the great writer and actor Gunnar Hansen who was Leatherface in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre! Sal's phone rings on air despite Jen's having TOLD him to turn it off ON THE AIR, and...well...you'll just have to listen to the rest!
